As a Halal food pantry our obligation is to remove any doubt concerning the foods we eat as well as the foods we deliver to Muslim families., Madinah Food Pantry and Family Services only accepts donations of 100% Hand Cut Chickens for distributions.  Alhamdulillah the Metro Atlanta Area Muslims have a local source for Hand Cut Halal Chickens.

Unfortunately the majority of the Metro-Atlanta area restaurants that previously exclusively used Abu Adnan  Hand-Cut chicken have reverted to using machine slaughterd chicken from Marjac and other non-Muslim companies purchased from Restaurant Depot or other sources.  As a result Madinah Food Pantry cannot endorse any Metro-Atlanta Muslim establishment as a place to take your family for Halal chicken. Sadly most of the restaurants, after switching back to machine-cut chicken, did not inform their clientel that they were no longer serving Hand-Cut chicken.  There are some restaurants that still carry hand-Cut but the also serve machine-cut. If you don't ask them which items on the menu are hand-cut you may get served machine cut as they are not indicating which items are not hand cut.
