Many families with Covid-19 needing assistance

During the first few weeks of 2021, we have had more referrals and requests from families that are confirmed cases of covid19. Many of these families are large families with all family members sick. As a result we are working extra diligently to get food packages to these families, blankets, personal care items and other forms of assistance needed. All of these families are quarantined with no one working.

We are in need of fresh produce, frozen vegetables, beans, soups, tea, sugar and honey, rice (basmati), milk, snacks and condiments (ketchup, jelly, mayonnaise, hot sauce, etc….) and sauces (spaghetti and diced tomatoes). We also send diapers and baby items as well to families that need them (as shown in this picture) which was a recent food package delivered to a family with covid19. Also, we are distributing new blankets (twin, full or queen size) and new comforters.

Many of these families are urgently in need of items.
