Alhamdulillah, Allahu ta'ala has continued to allow us to deliver food packages directly to families in need of assistance. We are again actively reaching out for your support to keep up with the constant demands for food assistance. We regularly need to restock our shelves. Refugee families are still arriving that need food, as well as families with special needs who are not receiving government assistance and depend on food packages to be delivered. Our elderly community also receives so little food stamps that they can't sustain themselves on their very small allotment. In addition to this there is an ongoing SNAP benefit scam impacting many families. Their benefits are disappearing from their EBT card. Our fall drive addresses these issues and will run from September 20th thru November 30th inshaa Allahu ta'ala.
